Start 2015 at the Tuckerton Seaport for the Fire & Ice Festival – celebrating the 1st Day of the New Year and the 100th Anniversary of the US Coast Guard. In addition, this event marks the 15th year of the Tuckerton Seaport. It is a family friendly event – the first of the New Year.
The Fire & Ice Festival begins at 10am. Every hour until 6pm, there will be a new and different programs, including a “Celebrate 350” tour at 10am, the US Coast Guard Boat Tour at 11am, an Ice cutting demonstration at Noon, an ice cream making program at 1pm, a program in the Captian’s House at 2pm, a Coast Guard Anniversary Ceremony at 3pm, a Lighthouse tour at 4pm, a bonfire with s’mores at 5pm and fireworks at 6pm. Throughout the Fire & Ice Festival, there will be ongoing activities from Parker’s Decoy Shop, Perrine’s Boatworks, Lighthouse tours at Tucker’s Island, the Festival of Trees and family crafts at the Visitors Center.
