Ocean County Park was our first stop on our tour of Ocean County parks and facilities. Located in Lakewood at Route 88, this 323-acre park was once owned by American Business Tycoon John D. Rockefeller. This park has it all – tennis courts, open fields, a beach area, a playground, a bike trail, a driving range and even an off-leash dog area. Ocean County Park is beautiful all year long. All of the facilities are FREE in the park and but there is also a premium picnic facility available for purchase. Whether you’re looking for an outdoor activity or just a place to relax, then you must check out Ocean County Park.
Ocean County Park is filled with so many different types of trees. It’s a great park for walking, riding a bike and in some parts you can bring your dog.
During the summer, Ocean County Park’s beach area is a popular destination for locals and tourists. The facilities include swimming grounds, and it’s always FREE.
Enjoy a peaceful meal outside at Ocean County Park’s picnic facilities. Or you can just sit on the benches and enjoy the scenery. Check out Ocean County Park today!
