FREE Maker Camp in Toms River

A summer of Maker Camp has returned to the Toms River branch of the Ocean County Library.  Teens ages 12 through 18 are welcome to attend any of the maker activities; with one program scheduled for 7 to 8 pm every Monday and Wednesday July 6th through -August 12th.  There will also be virtual field trips every Friday, 2-4 pm.  All programs will be held in the Teen Zone.

The 6 weeks of Maker Camp will kick off with Light Painting on July 6th.  The schedule is as follows:

 7/20  Life Size Board Games  7/22 Upcycled, Vintage, and Villainized Art
 7/27  Foosball Tables  7/29  The Art of Tie Dye
 8/3    Battery-Powered Super Heroes  8/5    Tech Petting Zoo Part TWO
 8/10  Light-Up Journals  8/12  Stop-Motion Animation

Teens will receive one raffle ticket for each Maker Camp program they attend, and at the end of the summer, one lucky winner will receive a Parrot Rolling Spider Mini Drone, courtesy of the Friends of the Toms River Library.
