September is coming to an end in Ocean County. As the final weekend of the month, there are several memorable events to enjoy. This weekend in Ocean County featues the Annual Harvest Craft Festival, the Everyday Heroes Concert and the 32nd Annual Ocean County Decoy & Gunning Show. Friday, September 26th
Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams of the Levon Helm Band will be playing a 7:30pm concert at the Strand Theatre in Lakewood. Tickets are $29.
Saturday, September 27th
The LBI Fishing Club hosts the 68th World Series of Surf Fishing. The tournament, on all LBI beaches, begins at 5:30am.
There is a craft fair and a town yard sale at Windward Beach Park in Brick. Come by from 8am-2pm and check out all of the items for sale.
The Annual Harvest Craft Festival commences today at 10am in Centennial Park in Bay Head. Every year, this festival features a large variety of vendors.
Honor our military and emergency service personnel with the 2014 Everyday Heroes Concert from 11am-7pm on the beach in Seaside Heights. The concert features music, bounce houses and fireworks at night.
Sunday, September 28th
Two on Tap, a tribute to song and dance, begins at 2pm at the Arts and Community Center Theatre at Ocean County College in Toms River. Tickets are $24 for adults, $20 for seniors and $10 for students. The performance features the unique collaboration between Melissa Giattino ad Ron DeStafano and their tribute to legendary song/dance couples.
Tip Seaman Park in Tuckerton is home to the 32nd Annual Ocean County Decoy & Gunning Show all weekend. Check out the expos, demonstrations, seminars and vendors dealing with decoy and gunning. There is also a dock dog competition as featured on ESPN.
