Happy Memorial Day Weekend 2015, Ocean County. This is the unofficial start of the summer season at the Jersey Shore. This weekend in Ocean County features the Ocean Township Founders Day and a tour of replica Columbus ships in Viking Village. Friday, May 22nd
The Little Egg Harbor Branch of the Ocean County Library will be screening the film American Sniper at 1PM. It is FREE and you can bring your own refreshments.
Saturday, May 23rd
Faith Community Church in Bayville presents a Flea Market from 9am-2pm. Stop by to buy used items, or sell your own items: tables are available for $20.
It is the Township of Ocean’s Founder’s Day Festival 2015 at the Priff Elementary School from 9am-3pm. Festivities include the Paint the Town Pink events, children’s rides, crafters, food, music and fireworks for the entire family to enjoy.
New Egypt Speedway presents Military Appreciation Night at 6pm. Veterans with ID enter for FREE.
Sunday, May 24th
Viking Village in Barnegat Light presents their first Art & Craft Show of the season from 10am-4:30pm. Over 65 dealers will be there, plus food is available.
Replica Columbus Ships Pinta and Nina will be at Viking Village in Barnegat Light all weekend. There are also guided tours for adults ($8), seniors ($7), students 5-16 ($6) and FREE for children under 4.
