Friday, May 16th
The Tuckerton Seaport invites all to their Jersey Family Fun Summer Kick-Off Party from Noon-5pm. Enjoy games, entertainment and prizes.
Saturday, May 17th
Island Beach State Park hosts Ocean Fun Day from 11am-3pm. Come by and take part in the exhibits, nature findings, crab races, a scavenger hunt and children’s games.
The 25th Annual New Jersey Chili & Salsa Cook-Off opens from 11am-5pm in Downtown Toms River. Check out the vendors, live bands, rides for the kids and chili tastings with prizes.
Are you looking for a new plant this spring? Head to Jake’s Branch County Park in Beachwood for the Yard, Garden and Native Plant Fair from Noon-4pm. Buy a plant, take a guided tour and check out all of the great local environmental resources.
The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll returns to Ocean County. Check out ‘Elvis at his Best’ at the Stafford Township Arts Center at 7:30pm.
Sunday, May 18th
Bring your dogs with you to the 2nd Annual Bark in the Park at Harry Wright Lake in Manchester from 9am-2pm. There will be dog walk and runs to help raise money for American Rescue Dog. The Bark in the Park also features vendors, games and training sessions for dogs.
The 2nd Annual Jersey Shore Music Festival will take center stage in Seaside Heights during the entire weekend. 5 different venues will feature dozens of musical acts both local and from the region. The Festival also includes a car show and many vendors.
If you like wine, check out the Pour Into Summer Wine Festival from Noon-5pm on Saturday and Sunday in Beach Haven. Ten wineries will be there. Tickets are $15 at the gate.
