May you enjoy this St. Patrick’s Day Weekend 2014. Spring is almost here at the Jersey Shore, and you can just feel it this weekend. This weekend in Ocean County features TechFestFour and the Our Gang Players production of ‘Love, Sex and the IRS’. These local events are all fun, and you must check them out. Here is what’s happening in Ocean County, this March 14th-16th weekend 2014:
Friday, March 14th
The Brick Chamber of Commerce is hosting a special luncheon from 11:30sm-1pm with the Mayor at Ocean County Vo-Tech in Brick. Tickets for this networking event are $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
The dinner and lecture series continues at Georgian Court University in Lakewood at 6:30 with ‘Setting the Tone of the European Art World in the 20th Century’.
Saturday, March 15th
Instead of celebration, go to the ‘Seal’-abration at the Jenkinson’s Aquarium in Point Pleasant Beach from 2pm-3:30pm. It’s a special birthday party for the seals, and great for kids ages 5 and up to attend.
It is TechFestFour, a music festival from the OCVTS Audio Recording Program and Performing Arts Academy. This fundraiser for scholarships features live musical acts. Catch it at the Presbyterian Church in Brick starting at 2pm when the doors open. Tickets are $10.
Head to the Lighthouse Center for Natural Resource Education in Waretown for All About Waterfowling and Family Fun Day starting at 10am. Enjoy demonstrations, carvers, artisans and more. It’s an excellent way to re-discover the great outdoors.
Our Gang Players presents ‘Love, Sex and the IRS’ at the Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven from March 14th-16th. Come out and support this very funny play.
