There might be some snow in the Ocean County forecast this weekend, but there are also plenty of events at the Jersey Shore. This Weekend in Ocean County features the Ocean County Home Show and a FREE dinner for Sandy victims and first responders at Lacey High School. Even if there’s snow, plow yourself out so you can enjoy these events. Here is what’s happening in Ocean County, this final weekend in January 2013:
Friday, January 25th
Wear your 80’s clothes to the Awesome 80’s Dance Party from 7PM-11PM at Laurita Winery in New Egypt. Enjoy 80’s music and cool 80s games.
Saturday, January 26th
Student organizations in Lacey High School are hosting a FREE turkey and ham dinner for Hurricane Sandy victims and first responders from 3PM-6PM. Register by calling 609-971-2040. Movies, popcorn and babysitting will also be available.
Come out to the LBI Foundation of the Arts and Sciences at 7PM for the screening of the documentary “East Coast Rising” – a surfer’s tale of Hurricane Sandy. Tickets are $20 and all proceeds will go to the Waves For Water Relief Effort. The event also includes LIVE music, food and an auction. Sunday, January 27th
Head to Jake’s Branch County Park in Beachwood at 1PM for a LIVE Native Animal Talk in the Nature Center.
All Weekend Long
The Passion Players Community Theatre invites you to see their Variety Show this weekend at the TRACO Theatre in Toms River. It’s a show featuring talented local kids and adults singing, dancing, doing comedy and more! Show times are 8PM on Friday and Saturday, and 3PM on Sunday.
