There’s no doubt that PBS’s groundbreaking television drama Downton Abbey made the Edwardian Era a popular topic among current discussions. Even non-fans of Downton Abbey appreciate the historical significance of the time period.
Georgian Court University in Lakewood presents a special program for the public that was inspired by Downton Abbey and the Edwardian Era of Great Britain. Check out “Life at an Edwardian Manor” on Wednesday, April 22nd at 11:30am. The program will take place at the Gould Mansion on the Georgian Court University campus.
Guests to the program will learn more about the Edwardian Era with an in-depth lecture on everything about this time period. And you don’t even need to be a fan of Downton Abbey to appreciate the information from this program. The cost is $35 ($30 for MILL members with ID) per person, and a tea luncheon is included.
