Children from the Ocean County-area can get a head start on Halloween as Simon’s Ocean County Mall celebrates the spooktacular holiday on Thursday, October 29.
“Ocean County Mall is the perfect place for families to celebrate Halloween in a fun, safe community environment,” commented Tara Melodick, director of marketing and business development for Ocean County Mall. “We are pleased to host these events and we look forward to welcoming the costumed children and their families as they delight in all of the enjoyable activities.”
Children are encouraged to dress in costume for all Halloween events. These include:
• Mall-wide Trick-or-Treat: From 4 to 7 p.m., children can trick-or-treat throughout the mall as participating stores offer candy and treats; while supplies last. Families are recommended to stop by Simon Guest Services for complimentary trick-or-treat bags, as well as a list of participating retailers.
• Simon Kidgits Club Boo Bash: Taking place in Center Court, Simon Kidgits Club members are invited to engage in Halloween arts, crafts, games and giveaways from 4 to 7 p.m.
• Halloween Photos by Noerr Programs: From 4 to 7 p.m. in Center Court, professional photos will be available for $10.
• 100.1 WJRZ Halloween Costume Contest: Hosted by Matt Knight, from the Matt Knight in the Morning show, children aged four to 10 can enter a costume contest. Prizes provided by Ocean County Mall retailers will be awarded for the best, spookiest and most creative costumes. Registration will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. at the WJRZ table in Center Court.
