The holiday season in Ocean County is not complete without the numerous Christmas parades. In 2014, there are family-friendly parades marching down local streets. And of course, Santa Claus will be there. Here is your guide to 2014 Christmas parades in Ocean County:
The 35th Annual Ship Bottom Christmas Parade commences at 1pm on December 6th down Long Beach Blvd. Come and check out all of the floats. The judging stand is at 16th street. This year’s theme is “Rocking Through The Years”.
On December 7th at 1pm, Santa and his Elves will be parading up Clifton Ave in Lakewood. The first 2000 kids under 10 will receive gifts.
Lacey Township holds their Christmas Parade on December 7th at 3pm. The parade marches down Lacey Road, starting at Lacey United Methodist Church, and ends at the Municipal Building.
For the third straight year on the Boulevard, Seaside Heights presents their Christmas on the Island and Parade from Noon-5pm on December 20th. Enjoy Santa’s workshop, prizes, music and more.
