The holiday season is underway in Ocean County with all of the public Christmas Tree Lighting ceremonies. In communities across Ocean County, the public is invited to celebrate the holidays with these events. The Christmas Tree Lighting events in Ocean County are great family-friendly events with refreshments, entertainment and an appearance from Santa Claus. Here is your guide to Ocean County Christmas Tree Lightings in 2014:
Point Pleasant Beach
November 28th at 5:30pm on Arnold Avenue
The festivities include entertainment, games for kids, face painting, pony rides, a raffle, refreshments and Santa.
November 28th at 6:30pm at the 10th Street Boat Ramp
Santa arrives on the Boat Ramp for pictures and there are refreshments.
November 29th at 6pm at Tip Seaman Park
November 30th at 6:30pm at the West Creek Methodist Church
Enjoy refreshments and caroling.
December 2nd at 5:30pm at Town Hall
Partake in the celebrations featuring Santa, refreshments and a local chorus.
December 5th at 6pm at Town Hall
Head to Downtown Toms River to hear the chorus, the band music, Mrs Claus read Twas the Night Before Christmas and see Santa.
December 5th at 7pm at the School
Come by for Santa and refreshments.
December 5th at 7:30pm at Priff Elementary School
Before the tree lighting ceremony, enjoy a Holiday Dinner at 5:30pm with Santa. Tickets are $9 (FREE for kids under 2).
